I was enduced on Thursday morning and by 2:30 was at a 4 and in active lador. I got my epidural at about 3:30 and by 5:00 was at a 7. My doctor came to break my water at about 5:30 and about 10 minutes after that, I was at a 10 and ready to go. I pushed about 1 1/2 times and he was here. It was really great and I could not have hoped for anything more!
This is our first family photo after Carter was born! Here we go... Mother of 2 and already loving it! I think I was so ready for him to come that I don't care that it is going to be WAY more work! I am grateful to my mom that she is here to help! Without her this would be too overwhelming!
Hallie is really doing well with the whole thing. She is always excited to see baby Carter and she is behaving normal for me. Magic on the other hand is having to deal with Hallie's evil tantrum twin, Kallie, and he is not enjoying that. I don't know why she is being so bad for him, but it is bad!

Hey! CONGRATULATIONS! What a handsome guy! I can't believe you are up & on your blog already! :) You guys look great - until recently, our "hospital picture" was the only photo we had with all 4 of us, so we finally had to get some updated ones - after 3 months! Carter looks like a keeper, you sure have some cute kids!
Oh my gosh, how cute. Y'all are ALL a bunch of hotties! Hallie is getting so big and now she doesn't seem like a baby anymore now that Carter is here, huh? I remember thinking that Keilana was still a baby until Kayden came along, then she was my BIG girl! Congratulations, it is a big transition but you'll do great. It just takes a little time and getting used to. Try to include Carter in Hallie's life, let her help you take care of him, even if it is as simple as pulling the tab on his diaper. It makes a big difference in how they adapt to a sybling joining the family, if they know they are helping take care of their baby!

Thanks for putting up pictures so soon -- I have been watching for them. Carter is so precious! He is definitely Hallie's brother! I love the little crease at the top of his nose -- Erik had that when he was born, like he had been squinting from the bright light or something!
Did Hallie suddenly seem so huge? I remember when Camille was born, suddenly it was like Ryan was a giant child, because she was so little! I was not prepared for that difference in perpective.
I'm so happy for you, Michelle! I know you are a wonderful mom. A second child will stretch you, but you will fit the role just fine!
